Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a rescue action taken for victims of events or emergency conditions who experience respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest. This condition can be caused by the victim experiencing a heart attack, accident, electric shock, drowning, poisoning and others. When breathing and heart rate stop, blood circulation and oxygen transportation also stop. This condition can cause the body's organs, especially vital organs, to experience a lack of oxygen, which is fatal and damaged quickly. The brain is the organ that is most quickly damaged. Because the brain can only survive when there is an intake of oxygen and glucose. If the brain does not receive oxygen and glucose for more than 10 minutes, it will die permanently. Brain death can also mean the death of the victim. Therefore, victims who experience respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest have a golden period or golden time that is very valuable as a rescue action.
