Injectable Drug Mixing Training
The mixing of injectable drugs and handling of cytostatic preparations should be carried out by pharmacists in the Hospital Pharmacy Installation. However, other health workers with limited facilities and knowledge still carry out most of them. At the same time, this pharmaceutical work requires special techniques with background knowledge including sterility, physicochemical properties and drug stability, drug immiscibility and the risk of drug exposure hazards.
